The wood pulp used in our diapers has not been processed with chemicals containing chlorine. This prevents dangerous chlorinated toxins from being released into the environment through the pulp production process. Sodium Polyacrylate--Absorbent pad--We use Super Absorbent Polymer or SAP (petroleum-derived) in our diapers because it is an effective method for absorbing liquid to keep baby dry and comfortable. Research indicates that this material is non-toxic. Polypropylene--Liner layer, outer layer and moisture barrier layer. Dryness layer--These soft layers keep baby dry and comfortable by containing the moisture in the absorbent pad, away from baby's delicate skin. The absorbent dryness layer quickly disperses liquid to the absorbent pad to prevent leakage. Adhesives--Seams and joints--Adhesives (petroleum-derived) keep the diaper components together for a secure fit.
